Last weekend we celebrated Oscar’s 4th birthday party in the greenhouse and I decided we needed to share the greenhouse experience with you all. This week we’ll have an open greenhouse! I (Elena) will give a brief tour of our greenhouse and a high tunnel at 11:45, and we’ll leave chairs in the greenhouse so folks can just sit with a buddy or book and enjoy the sunshine anytime between 11:45 and 4:30. Grab a coffee from Nan’s, or a hot cider from the farm stand and breathe in the good dirt smell. I know Friday at 11:45 is a weird time; we’re working within the constraints of a 1 year old’s nap time. We’ll do this again on a Saturday, I promise. If you’re headed to the greenhouse, wear boots and prepare to squelch as the farm road is VERY muddy. No pets in the greenhouse, please.
In farm news: this is our first above-freezing week since 2024! Days are long enough that the robins started singing at 5:49 AM yesterday. We’ve got big plans, including moving forward with the High Tunnel 4 build, planting ranunculus corms for the Spring Flower CSA, getting our first transplants into the high tunnels, and harvesting LOTS of spinach for you.

Beets, Butternut, Cabbage-limited, Carrots, Celeriac, Daikon Radishes, Garlic, Kohlrabi, Mushrooms, Parsnips, Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Turnips, Watermelon radishes
Organic and Local: eggs (our supplier says they are in stock!), applesauce, pickles, pasta, polenta, miso, tofu, and flour
Local: apple cider, eco-certified Evercrisp apples, cheese, yogurt, maple syrup, hot sauce (made from our own organic veg), Popcorn on and off the cob (IPM *not* certified organic),
We accept cash, check, card, gift card/Seed Money, and SNAP/EBT. We can process HIP benefits.
WE EXPECT TO BE OPEN AGAIN MARCH 15 (or 14 if the weather demands it)
